Today, Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, Ndu Council was awarded the First Prize for the Most Disability Inclusive Council in Cameroon. This prestigious national recognition was organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs in collaboration with the UCCC, the CBC Health Board, and the Lilian Foundation.

This achievement underscores Ndu Council’s unwavering commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their abilities, can live fulfilling lives within the municipality. The council has implemented various initiatives to enhance accessibility, promote equal opportunities, and create a supportive environment for people with disabilities.

Ndu Council aims to build on this success by further enhancing its programs and engaging with community stakeholders to ensure that inclusivity remains at the forefront of its agenda. By prioritizing the needs of all citizens, Ndu Council is setting a standard for municipalities across Cameroon to follow, paving the way for a more inclusive society.
